Use Xfinity Webmail
- Access the Internet, TV, Phone, Smart Home and Security – Xfinity by Comcast.
- Navigate to the Sign in to Xfinity section.
- Sign in with your Xfinity ID and password.
- Compose your email and then click on the “Send” button.
Using an Email Program
- To begin, ensure that you grant access to third-party programs within the Xfinity Email website to prevent encountering error messages.
- Next, select your preferred email program from the provided list and proceed by following the respective steps outlined below:
- Outlook,
- iPhone or iPad,
- Android Devices,
- Apple Mail on Mac OS,
- Gmail App,
- Samsung Email App,
- Windows Mail App,
- Mozilla Thunderbird.
To connect your Comcast.net email with programs not listed, utilize the following settings:
- Incoming Mail Server Name: imap.comcast.net Incoming Mail Server Port Number.
- 993 with SSL ON (If the Mail Client supports authentication method selection, choose STARTTLS. Alternatively, use 143 with SSL ON if required) Outgoing Mail Server Name: smtp.comcast.net Outgoing Mail Server Port Number.
- 587 (SMTP) or 465 (SMTPS) Encryption: TLS (use SSL if TLS isn’t available) Authentication: Input your Comcast.net email address.
Avoid using third-party email programs that might expose your Xfinity ID and password to risk. Thus, it is better to access your email account directly.
