Import Contacts from Gmail

If you want to import contacts from Gmail as well, you can do it easily with a few steps. Gmail does not store contacts. In contrast, these contacts are now saved in your Google account but are still called Gmail contacts.

  • At the top right corner, you will find your profile picture; click on ‘Sign Out.’

While importing the contacts, you must ensure you use the correct account. Remember that every Gmail address comes with its repository. 

When you use labels in Google Contacts to categorize or group your contacts, know that those labels will not be available on your device’s contact record. 

With simple steps, you will have it only on your device when you add a brand new contact to Google.
